Designing Nature-Positive Aligned Business Models: Exploring Value Creation, Capture, and Delivery through Strategic Archetypes

25 March 2025 | 14:00 - 15:30 |
Hosted by: Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership

It is becoming increasingly clear that to address the scale of the nature crisis at the necessary speed to meet national and international targets, business as usual can not continue. We need to consider some more fundamental shifts in the way businesses generate, capture and deliver value – we need new nature positive aligned business models.

As part of work on the EU Horizon ‘A-Track’ project, CISL has developed several business model archetypes that outline what these new approaches could look like. In this session, we will present these archetypes and ask participants how they relate to their own business, as well as engaging in a group discussion around the barriers to scaling such models.

Confirmed Speakers:

Harry Greenfield, Programme Manager, Business and Nature, CISL

Edmund Dickens, Project Manager, Business and Nature, CISL

Anum Sheikh, Policy Analyst, CISL
