The Nature Action Dialogues opening plenary will build on the release of the IPBES Nexus Assessment (looking at connections between the delivery of goals on biodiversity, climate change, water, food and health) and focus discussions on the interconnections between the state of nature and these other issues. The plenary session will include keynote speeches from the IPBES Chair and one of the Co-Chairs of the IPBES Nexus Assessment. This will be followed with a multi-disciplinary panel discussion looking at interactions between science, policy and practice when addressing the relationship between the economy and the biosphere.
