Action Streams Day Two
Directors' duties and nature governance: a behavioural science approach
26 March 2025 | 10:00 - 12:00 |
Hosted by: Commonwealth Climate and Law Initiative and Influence at Work
To successfully address the nature crisis, directors must understand their company's reliance on nature and effectively approach conversations on nature in the boardroom. Jointly run by leading climate and nature legal experts and behavioural psychologists, this session will: (a) guide attendees through the core legal duties of corporate directors regarding nature-related risks; (b) assist participants in identifying their business’ dependencies and impacts on ecosystem services throughout the value chain; and (c) introduce a behavioural science framework specifically designed to empower sustainability teams and board members in understanding their influence in the boardroom and drive nature-positive decision making and action.
