Action Streams Day Two

Achieving nature positive: private sector implementation challenges & solutions

26 March 2025 | 13:30 - 15:30 |
Hosted by: Fauna & Flora and Birdlife International

This session will highlight and address the challenges and opportunities for companies seeking to bring the nature-positive global goal to life. This includes defining the scope of ambition, setting and tracking the scientifically credible state-of-nature targets, ensuring avoidance, mitigation, restoration or compensation of impact, supporting additional conservation action where possible, and disclosing progress publicly.

A candid panel discussion with leading experts will set the scene for this interactive session. These conversations will draw on and help refine draft nature-positive principles developed by a group from the Cambridge Conservation Initiative’s draft Nature Positive principles, which seek to enable practical implementation that is ambitious and robust.

Confirmed Speakers:

Julie Dimitrijevic, Senior Technical Specialist | Business & Nature, Fauna & Flora

Noelle Kumpel, Senior Policy Advisor, Birdlife International
