Accelerating action at the biodiversity, climate and water nexus

The IPBES Nexus Assessment provides critical insights on the interlinkages between biodiversity, water, climate, food and health. It recognises that integrated solutions are needed at scale, with accelerated action needed by governments, business, finance and the rest of society. This workshop expands on themes and topics raised in the opening plenary, and will provide participants with an opportunity to explore the IPBES Nexus Assessment and its relevance to business and finance.

The session is led by experts involved in the IPBES Nexus Assessment. It will examine how the response options identified in the assessment connect to business dependencies, impacts, risks, and opportunities.
